The Domestic Monastery

Last Saturday I dropped off Saint Jacinta with Dee-dee Mihaliak at The Domestic Monastery in Avon , CT. The painting has been on loan for several years, so now that it's available again, I'm thrilled to offer it through this lovely Catholic gift shop and gallery.

I can't say how impressed I was with the artwork carried at The Domestic Monastery as well as their selection of books, gifts, and work by Catholic artisans. If you have a chance to visit, it's well worth the trip.

This is my favorite snapshot; just as I was about to take this picture, a little girl wandering the shop with her dad stopped in front of the painting. Her "Whoa. Look at this!" made my day.
